The Annual 68th Golden Globe Awards (2011)

BEST DRESSED ACTRESSES

Closed forward, open backward! Anne Hathaway chose an Armani Privé gown fully embellished with paillettes and Swarovski crystals. She added Van Cleef & Arpels vintage earrings and ring and Brian Atwood platforms.
She looked so dashing and I was proud telling you that she really made it!And if she turns around, you'll catch a glimpse at her back. And added by its oomph sleeves, she's such a perfection.

Emma Stone showed up peachily in Calvin Klein Collection cap-sleeved, open-back dress and Van Cleef & Arpels drop earrings and bow ring. The "Easy A" starlet  toted herself a Calvin Klein Collection gold clutch and added Salvatore Ferragamo nude python peep-toe.Simply elegant! And peach really suited her skin and her blond hair.

Angelina Jolie showed up her elegance on red carpet in this long-sleeved Atelier Versace beaded gown and matching Salvatore Ferragamo green satin peep-toe pumps. She was so"Go-Green" minded that she came up in green gown and green was an "It" color then.

"Tron" star Olivia Wilde looked gorgeous in the glittery Marchesa frock with a pair of seriously cool Christian Louboutin heels and Tiffany & Co. jewels and a Judith Leiber clutch. You've gotta agree with me,it's fabulous!

Eva Longoria broke up Golden Globe 68th red carpet with formfitting Zac Posen gown with gorgeous train and Neil Lane jewels plus a matching clutch.Take a look at her simple make up.It wasn't too much and greatly pure.

Scarlett Johansson went on the red carpet with a romantic pale pink/peach gown with floral applique and embroidery details from Elie Saab, Art Deco Van Cleef & Arpels jewels, and Jimmy Choo platform sandals. It was classy and demure either.

There's no sleeker dress than this one.Claire Danes looked absolutely fabulous in a custom Calvin Klein Collection neon silk halter dress, Fred Leighton drop earrings and gold cuff.Eventhough she didn't add much accessories, her dress's color made it!

January Jones drove us away madly in this Versace number and matching pout with Neil Lane jewels. Hidden beneath the fringe is a pair of black Versace pumps. She looks super funny within that dress and looks as if she wants to show us her daring personality with her dress.

Hailee Steinfeld walked the red carpet in a white Prabal Gurung gown with a halter neckline, Salvatore Ferragamo nude satin peep-toe shoes and bold Amanda Pearl turquoise clutch. She was kinda sweet! Her dress wasn't too much nor too simple.Suitable for teenage girl.

OK, this look is really red hot. Sofia Vergara was ready to paint the town red in this Vera Wang design with corset-details and David Webb jewels.Really love its color. And that black belt completes her total look.

Kelly Osbourne, the latest member of E! Fashion Police, looked lovely in this Zac Posen gown from the Spring 2011 collection. She added Casadei peep-toe pumps and Kimberly McDonald jewels. But her updo made her look a little old for her age.

Dianna Agron, another member of the "Glee" cast, looked delicate and refined in a J. Mendel beige silk chiffon hand-pleated strapless gown and Cathy Waterman jewelry with gold Salvatore Ferragamo clutch.Although her gown looks very simple, her hairdo and her necklace boosted it all.

Country star Carrie Underwood opted for a Badgley Mischka strapless gown,Brian Atwood shoes and Swarovski metallic clutch. Simple! Sublime! Everything was perfect, from up to toe, never fails. And I love its embellishments all over it.

I told you green was the color of the night. Mila Kunis wore a  ladylike Vera Wang one-shouldered gown with YSL heels, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Judith Leiber clutch. And I had to say that green became the most lovable color on the red carpet at that time.

Catherine Zeta-Jones poses in a textured Monique Lhuillier strapless gown paired with diamond drop earrings and Salvatore Ferragamo black satin strappy shoes and clutch. She looked rich and richly happy.I love its structures and patterns on her gown.

Amy Adams paraded on the red carpet in Marchesa blue ruffled gown.I really love her sense of fashion. She never goes wrong.Sometimes ruffled-gown would go exaggeratedly, but not for her.She looked pretty chic.

Amber Riley came up on the red carpet in Oliver Tolentino gray embellished one-shouldered gown,Charles Albert ring,Midas shoes, and Michelle Monroe clutch. This is how curvaceous girl has to dress up.By adding black belt,it looks flawless.

Milla Jovovich came up on the red carpet wearing Armani Prive mermaid-like gown. Her gown looks as though wrapped her body perfectly and her curly hairdo really looks ladylike.

 COULD BE BETTER

"Rabbit Hole" actress Nicole Kidman looked pale and a bit miserable while walking on red carpet in a cream Prada one-shoulder gown with all-over sequin embroidery and bow detail,Pierre Hardy shoes, and Fred Leighton jewels. She needed more jewels and accessories.

Leighton Meester might make a bit mistake by toting a Louis Vuitton clutch, with tassel detail a la Julianne Moore, but opted for a Victorian-inspired Burberry gown with a thigh-high slit, Jimmy Choo metallic heels and Cathy Waterman jewels. Her gown looks a bit worn as if it's made of hand-me-down fabric.

Megan Fox in asymmetrical Swarovski-crystal-adorned Armani Privé number matched with crystal-heeled Brian Atwood pumps and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.I'm quiet sure she's sexy but she'd better not showing off her leg, okay? And its color is a bit "Blah".Too revealing!

Mad Men" star Christina Hendricks always looks red hot, but we were distracted by the oversized ruffles of her Romona Kaveza dress. A Judith Leiber clutch and jewels from Neil Lane and Chopard completed her ensemble. We all know that you're buxom, but it was all kinds of wrong.Especially that flower. It was gone too big.

Jennifer Lawrence showed up in Louis Vuitton, Chopard jewels, Roger Vivier heels and a Judith Leber clutch.Actually, there was no flaw in her looks but her dress was just  a bit like tablecloth.

Mandy Moore came up in Monique Lhuillier blue gown,Brian Atwood shoes,Chopard jewels, and Jimmy Choo clutch.Oh really, did she lose her make-up kit?She looked like came up without it at all.And that dress didn't help at all.

Pump of the volume! Julianne Moore paired her asymmetrical Lanvin frock with gold Bulgari jewels and tassel clutch. It looked too oversized due to the volume of it.Neither her dress nor any appearance can boost her look.

Halle Berry wore Nina Ricci black corset completed by Harry Winston jewelry.I didn't get why she put on corset on herself to come over on the red carpet.Totally wrong. But her bracelets helped to improve her look, but just a little.

One of Glee gals,Naya Rivera dressed up in Douglas Hannant gown and Neil Lane jewelry. It doesn't look so flirty that I hesitate if it's a gown or not and its leg part looks a bit tight.

WORST DRESSED ACTRESSES

Hmm, I had to call this pitchy. Jennifer Lopez would have fit right in at Studio 54 in this Zuhair Murad gown with Swarovski matching box clutch, Harry Winston jewels,Christian Louboutin shoes and silver eyeshadow. Unfortunately, it was 2011, not 70's. .In this case,do you think that dressing up yourself within such a vintage style would be dashing?

Helena Bonham Carter went for homeless-chic in Vivienne Westwood. I detested her mismatch-colored heels.I was sure the mismatched heels were making some kind of statement. It was abstractly confusing and super reckless and shabby, though.

Tribal waves went too far.Supermodel Heidi Klum picked a psychedelic Marc Jacobs number for the event and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.Bohemian lady has gone too far at dressing up.And do we count more than a dozen bangles? To be honest she looked like an Aborigine girl got lost in the middle of city.

Best Actress in a Motion Picture winner and mommy-to-be Natalie Portman chose a Viktor & Rolf frock with hand-embroidered Swarovski crystal red rose and Tiffany & Co. jewels. Unfortunately,I thought the rose messed up everything.

Elvira meets Cinderella. Sandra Bullock was in this Jenny Packham pink frock with beaded details. The actress added and eye-grazing blunt bangs. Somehow, all that heavy hair and jewelry made an otherwise pretty gown feel just as weighty.

Lea Michele looked awkward on the cameras in this pink Oscar de la Renta gown, Lorraine Schwartz jewels,Christian Louboutin shoes and unkempt updo.Ruffles rarely flatter.Ridiculous!

Jennifer Love Hewitt chose this strapless and structured Romona Keveza gown,SANG A clutch and three Le Vian rings for this pageant. But,its cuff looked ludicrous and her bun didn't suit her.Need more attempt, will you?

Christina Aguilera hit the red carpet in a Zuhair Murad beaded gown and added Lorraine Schwartz jewels to complete the embellished getup and Christian Louboutin shoes. This could have been a hit for the over-the-top dresser except her cups runneth over.

Michelle Williams showed up in Valentino nude floral-printed gown with vintage Fred Leighton earrings and Christian Louboutin shoes..It made her look shabbier.Despite it has so many florals,it didn't boost her look.

Piper Perabo walked on the red carpet in Oscar de la Renta black dress.Truth to be told, she looks ridiculous within that dress. What does she expect to be by putting on that dress?
